2021 Beers - Budget Extreme Endurace Racing - we bought a bone stock Lancer for $1500 and in under 3 weeks put a cage in it, drove it to Collie, then did 304 laps of the short track and 232 laps of the long track for a total of 1078km
on one set of tyres, three sets of brake rotors, nine sets of brake pads and finished 8th from 24 starters. We won the Spirit of Beers award and then drove the car home back to Perth. What an awesome weekend with some great mates!!
I've done it! Never did I think I would be a National Champion in anything but here we are! It was worth the risk crossing the borders in these covid times!

So the Giant Reign 1 meant working too hard with no enough downhill runs. Enter stage left the new bike thanks to Cycles Mandurah.
It is a Giant Trance E+1 Pro. Yes it's an e-bike but it allows me to ride further and faster while still burning the same amount of energy.
Yes you still have to pedal and yes you still work hard. At the end of the day, it means I get to do more downhill runs - which is the fun bit!
